Waec Harmonized WASSCE and SSCE Set Texts for Yoruba: 2026-2030
The West African Examination Council (WAEC), in conjunction with the National Examination Council (NECO) of Nigeria has released the harmonized syllabus for Yoruba language.
The harmonized syllabus shall be used by the two examining bodies in setting their questions for their examinations. The syllabus will be effective by September 2023 for the SS1 students who are expected to write their SSCE exams by 2026.
The present harmonized syllabus is still in use for the present SS1-SS3; it shall be used in setting their questions for the SSCE Exams.
The teachers, likewise the learners are expected to study this syllabus and make good use of it. They are also advised to read all the recommended texts in preparation for the exams. The teachers in charge are urged to educate the learners on the importance of reading all the recommended texts.
