Literature Hub- Addressing Literature-in-English Students’ Performance

Literature-in-English is one of the subjects offered in our secondary schools, especially for Art students.

In fact, after English and Mathematics, for an Art student, Literature-in-English is the next. The subject is one of the requirements for their courses in the higher institution.

To study Law, Mass Communication, English, and other Art related courses in higher institutions, the student is expected to pass Literature-in-English at a credit level.

Many students nowadays find it difficult to pass the subject at a credit level hence, they find it difficult to study the course of their choice.

Many reasons are responsible for this. As we all know that Literature is a subject of textbooks; a Literature student must read all the recommended texts by the examining bodies.

A Literature student must understand how to answer Literature-in-English questions as required by the examining bodies. They must understand how to analyse questions and answer the questions appropriately.

To change this narrative, Literature students need to be educated on these. Our platform on Facebook; https://web.facebook.com/247learningscom-409301409256012 has been doing this for years.

Another is now added to the nest with our website where all the Waec and Neco recommended texts and poems are comprehensively analysed.

The rudiments of Literature-in-English are discussed as well as the past questions of the examining bodies are also answered.
